Verification & Trust
Last updated: 25 September 2026
Profiles are not automatically verified
A profile appearing on CinderBurn does not by itself prove that the person's identity, qualifications, employer, company affiliation, work history or claims are genuine.
Future verification
Production CinderBurn may introduce optional verification for identity, email, phone, company ownership, professional credentials or other signals. A verification badge should describe exactly what was checked and when.
Do not fake verification
Users must not claim that CinderBurn has verified something when it has not. Do not upload forged certificates, identity documents, badges or screenshots.
Employers and workers
Employers should verify candidates before making decisions, and candidates should verify employers and job offers before accepting them. CinderBurn is a discovery platform, not a substitute for normal due diligence.
